Our farm, Healing Ponds, is 40 acres out in Buxton. We also have a store outlet in Beaverton: Healing Ponds Farm & Garden Store, where we stock supplies and hold classes.
Both the farm and the store are owned by Mark and Jennifer Ludeman, who have been running small businesses together for over 30 years. Their first venture was a lawn care service; then they swept chimneys. Later they got into selling wood stoves, which evolved into Ludemans, Inc. – the “everything for the home” store on SW Canyon Road.
Healing Ponds Farm & Garden store:
Healing Ponds Farm & Garden Store (i.e. “the store”) has its own building outside of Ludeman’s, Inc.
There you can find seeds, chicks, fertilizer, hand tools, and everything else you need, whether you’re tending a container garden or a small homestead. See what’s for sale, here.
We're at 12675 SW Canyon Rd. Beaverton, OR 97005. Hours are: Mon-Sat 9:30 to 6pm, Sundays 11 to 5pm. See you soon!

Healing Ponds Farm: Buxton, Or
Mark and Jennifer split their time between the store (where they work) and the farm (where they work and live). Here they keep animals, breed and care for the babies, build up the land, practice permaculture, grow food and work toward healing.
To us, healing means:
- To provide our animals good, happy lives
- To take care of the soil and build the health of our local ecology
- To offer wholesome, local food to our extended community
Healing is our passion, the reason that drives everything we're doing here. Learn more:
Biodynamics, permaculture, soil management… read about that here.
Meet our animals, see pictures and learn more about the lives they live.
